Which teams have a chance to win it all in each classification?  Who are some teams that will be fun to watch?

If you are strictly speaking of our area teams, I see no one winning a state title.

Of all the teams in the state, these are my picks for state titles:


5A    Fort Bend Bush

4A    The Colony

3A   Lubbock Estacado

2A   Hallettsville

1A DI    Clarksville

1ADII    Paducah

AAW, I dont know anything about Paducah, but I'm surprised you didnt pick Bronte to win 1A-II, since they moved down from 1A-I to 1A-II, returning their best players, and you watched them take Cayuga to the wire in the state championship game in the drum.  I like the Clarksville pick, but I also think Cayuga or Martins Mill could win that very tough region 3.

A little bird tweeted me a couple of things about Paducah and Bronte. ;)

how far will Yates get this year? After being national champs they aren't getting any respect IMO.

They basically graduated their whole team. Plus, not having the ineligible player sets them back as well.

Galveston Ball and Lamarque are the top dogs in Region III.

I see. Still think coach wise will be reloading not rebuilding.
Also can't wait to see Ball in the nederland tourney. Hope we play them. Should be a good test to see how good we are.

Silsbee is in the Nederland tourney as well. I'll be there broadcasting some of those tournament games.
