I think that's usually the case. I think the golf programs, track, soccer, etc usually bring up the averages up basketball, football, and baseball

Am I surpirsed that our basketball teams were the worst academic performing athletic squads at Lamar?  Not at all!  I imagine that is the case at nearly every university in the country.

I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but if the 2000 - 2003 are dates, both of your link information is a bit dated.
I would like to see more current data.

They don't have more current data because you have to have the four to five years for athletes to graduate. Then a year or two to gather all the data.
