Guest Two-Dogs... Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 My son heard at school (not at LCM) that hunter tore his ACL. Anyone know if this is accurate?
utguy09 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Nah he is fine from what i keep hearing just taking it easy during practice.
Chorizo_11 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 who really cares if he plays or not,,,,,,nederland has to beat them with or without him to move on,,,,,,if they cant beat lcm with him playing,,,plain and simple ,they dont deserve the play-offs,,,,,,,,just a opinion from a nederland fan,,,,,,,i hope he plays personally
NDN79 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 He is a great player. I hope he is healthy and able to play friday. I enjoyed watching him play against PN-G.
utguy09 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 I think you would have to cut both legs off to keep this kid off the field. If he did tear his acl during the livingston game which im pretty positive he didnt he play the last qauter with it torn. lol

He is a huge part of the LCM offense and I would really like them to bury Nederland.
Roughrider Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 He has not praciticed this week.....That really does not mean anything. He could sit out all week then play Friday...Its not like he does not know the offense.
bobbymcgee Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Hunter could play with a torn ACL and be just as mobile as Forney
bobbymcgee Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Yes I did. Last year and I think I need two hands to count the time the team he was playing sacked him.
outanup Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010
Hunter could play with a torn ACL and be just as mobile as Forney
LOL.... gotta agree that he isnt the most nimble qb but, hes got a mean stiffarm!!!! ;D ;D
dawgnut Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Yep and a lot different line also. Forney is not going to run 40 yards on you, but he has more positive yards this year than negative. And as Ozen found out last week, he can catch the ball over the middle also.
jake94 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 I think he will play. He may not practice all week, but I betcha he is out there come Friday.
meat Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Word I got today is it will be a game-time decision. If he can't go, Zach Sonnier will start at QB. Zach is a good enough athlete to pose problems for the Nederland defense, but it would be at the expense of losing your best receiver. That being said, I expect Gonzalez to play.
dawgnut Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 We know how it is to lose your QB the last several years have not been kind to us but we also know that no matter what you have to go out and play your best. I hope he is able to go it would be sad to not be able to play the last game in district.
bojonomore Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 A pretty reliable source in Orange has it that Gonzales will sit unless they absolutely need him. So expect Zack Sonnier at qb, unless LCM gets down far enough to jepordize their chances.

Guest Two-Dogs... Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 I bet Gonzales sits out. Really is a shame. He is a great athlete and the the heart of LCM's offense. The stand in will do his very best no doubt but those are some big shoes to fill on little experience. If I'm right, Unfortunately Ned will take this one easily.

If the O-line holds up like they did in the 4th against Livingston and gives Hunter the time to deliver the ball, the Bears may just be OK. It may not be too disappointing to have the ball in Zack Sonniers hands more either. Go Bears!
AkAQuarterHorse Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Hunter will be playing there is a lot rumors going around that are not true.
baddog Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Of course it's up to the coaches, but my son's friend plays for LCM and he says that Gonzales is playing. Game-time decisions are a psychological ploy. If he doesn't feel like playing now, 3 hours ain't going to make much difference. ;D I hope he plays and we have a really good game.Good luck to both teams.
silly365 Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Theres no way he doesnt play in this game . Im not saying hes a Brett Farve or anything but hes a competitor.I expect nothing short of him playing .And yes it will be a good game and may the best team win!!
