EAGLE07 Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 True that Bulldog3...and best of luck to you. I imagine "JR" and I will be catching some Lamar games next season.....watching his former batterymate and good friend play some ball.
Bears Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 Jake Rowell from LCM has decided to go to Angelina JUCO instead of McNeese St.Congrats to Jake who joins former Bear Jerrod Dugas in Lufkin
Kryptonite proof Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 AC is a very good program. Great place for these guys to play. They will have a strong team next year. Real good players coming back from a Conference champion and Regional tournament qualifying team. Both coaches are outstanding. If they listen to Coach Martinez they both will become better hitters than what they are. I wish them both the best of luck as well as the Roadrunner program
Mack3 Posted June 27, 2007 Report Posted June 27, 2007 Chris Laird (Nederland 06) Aaron Dalton (ETBU) Josh Cabra (Nederland 07) and Alex Moshier (Nederland 07) have all been offered roster spots at Angelina. I am not sure if decisions by the boys have been finalized yet.Â
uniden Posted June 27, 2007 Report Posted June 27, 2007 Broc Haymon (Bridge City 06) will be playing at Blinn next year.

davidortizfan Posted July 10, 2007 Report Posted July 10, 2007 yeah AC is a very good program.. and if you put up numbers, you can still get a lot of recognition there. just look at buchholz
Mack3 Posted July 21, 2007 Report Posted July 21, 2007 Alex Moshier has committed to SFA. Although this will only be the 3rd year that the Jacks have been back on the baseball field, they were 18-12 in conference this past year and are focused on being a very good team. The $$$ is almost finalized for a spectacular new complex that will rival Sam Houstons (they thought they had enough $$ already only to find out the grounds were "wetlands"). While a catcher at Nederland, Alex has pitched some this summer and been pretty successful. SFA has offered him an opportunity to pitch and catch. Thanks to Sr. Babe Ruth coaches Collins, Landry and Wharton for their support and advice! Thanks also to Coach Robbins and especially to Morgan Walker.Â
vhs Posted July 27, 2007 Report Posted July 27, 2007 Have any Vidor grads found a place to play? I know several of them were looking, and continued playing in baberuth this summer to stay sharp.
rmac Posted August 8, 2007 Report Posted August 8, 2007 Reese Winters from Woodville, will be playing ball at A&M-Kingsville.
bulldog16 Posted August 8, 2007 Report Posted August 8, 2007 Congrats to Alex...he is a great kid and his parents are golden......Alex Moshier has committed to SFA.
AstrosFanatic Posted August 8, 2007 Report Posted August 8, 2007 None of the Vidor grads from last year have made any commitments to any colleges for baseball, but most of them will be attending Lamar next year to further their education.
Mack3 Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 Congrats to Alex...he is a great kid and his parents are golden......If you are saying Alex's parents are old ("golden"), be nice! We are, but trying to keep up with Alex and his sister have kept us young in every way but age. Connie (being the PNG girl she is) looks forward to being able to put on the Purple and White of the Jacks at SFA after many years of black and gold!Â
bulldog16 Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 No, by golden I meant Good as Gold....It's nice to see parents involved in a positive way in their childs life....
Mack3 Posted August 10, 2007 Report Posted August 10, 2007 We knew that (or assumed that)! Thanks for the nice words, Coach B. We have enjoyed our kids going to NISD....lots of new friendships developed via Alex's sports and Kelsey's Westernaires and Project Graduation for both kids.Â
