Evadale Season Ends

For those of you who have watched this young team from the beginning of the season to the end were able to watch the developement of some young players who will make noise in this area for years to come.
After starting the season 2-7 with a difficult schedule the Lady Rebels finished with a run of 13-4. It came to an end in Corrigan last nite to North Zulch in three games (25-5,25-15,25-18).

The Lady Rebels and Coaches Hollyfield and McAdams:
A team that didnt make the playoffs last year and graduated three seniors worked hard all season and never once gave up or gave in. Hoping for a playoff spot this year wasnt enough for this group. They set their sites on a district title. Accomplishing that goal is to be applauded because I dont think many in the area expected it.
So hats off to you all Lady Rebels for a great season. Congratulations to Seniors Haliegh Conner,Ashton Clark and Kayla Peevey, you leave the program as district champions. For all returning, work hard for next season you have the target on your back, now you must defend a championship.
