Its halftime and he hasnt really had a chance to do much. They had the wind at their back in the first quarter but only had one possesion to capitalize on it. The second quarter they were going into a 25mph wind, so mostly running plays.

Cody can't catch a break today.  Turnover and a receiver dropping one that hit him right in the hands ending two drives.  Hopefully in the second half they'll have the wind at their back and they'll let Cody air it out a little.

He said he wouldn't see te feild at all unless there is an injury. And that is actually why Cody is playing.

Cougtalk cant write anything on here until Crosby has won their first playoff game or the beginning of next season, whichever comes first.  He bet that Crosby would beat Dayton.

NEB 31-30 in OT. Codys #s were not great but I chalk it up to play calling. The NEB coaches call options when Martinez is in the game but not Cody? Did they see him run in high school? Doesnt make sense. Anyway he lead the team to a W.

Here are Cody's #'s from today. He also had 10 yards rushing on 9 carries. Not the greatest performance but that because of the play calling but like BRONX said, he led them to the W.

I wish him the best....he certainly looks like a good QB....good size, throws a good ball...has the ability to run the ball but the playcalling is at best pathetic.  Watching his progression and that of G. Gilbert just makes you wonder.  Especially when you look up at Oregon who's QB came out at the same time and runs the ENTIRE offense instead of 12 or 13 plays.

Who know's, with the way coach Pelini and company roll they may start the RB Burkhead at QB next week!

There was once a post on setxsports about Green or Karum I believe and Karum was the Houston Area touchdown club off.Mvp in 2008.Remarks later were posted Cody prolly never see a down @Nebraska and I said oh yeah and Karum would be holding a playbook on the sideline @TT 8)
