That's the beauty of it - they didn't know W-T-H he was doing.  Would have been cool to step off 15 yards and THEN break into
his run.  But great as it is. ;D

espn featured this video on c'mon man on Monday Night Countdown.They said he told the center it was the wrong ball and walking to get the right one I guess.

This is about the third "wrong ball" play I have seen in the last couple of years.  You would think the coaches by now would tell their middle linebacker to kill anyone with a "wrong ball" and sort it out later.        ;)

Back in the early 80s we played a team that was known for a similar play starting out in a swinging gate and then acting confused and wandering around like he was getting players lined out. Our coach told us to take the QBs head off and that he would take the heat if we were wrong. We wanted them to try it soooooo bad. Never did.
