Basketball Polls

Wanted to ask this question here. What do you guys think about us having a consensus basketball poll like we did in football? Chad has always had his own poll, HoopInsider poll, and I have had no problem with it. But some of our basketball guys (you probably know who I am speaking of) have had problems with Chad's polls and some of them have asked me if we can do a basketball poll like what is done in football.

Probably wouldn't get 10 guys, more like 5-6, and it would only be a top 10, not 15. Probably still do it 5A-3A, 2A-Private.

I will ask Chad if he is interested in participating or if he justs wants to do his own.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions on who should be involved?


I was thinking of starting with at least these 6 and going from there (would love to have 10):

I think it is a good idea.  I'll certainly lend my services for the tallying.  But if I were a pollster, you'd look at my rankings like you look at some of the small school football rankings. LOL!  So, I'll decline on that part.

Guys, I spoke to Chad about us doing a basketball poll like we do in football. He's okay with it and would like to be a pollster in our's. He will continue to do his HoopInsider polls.

I don't have a problem with it....I willl vote and when the results are done, Todd can send and I will post it.

Needs to be released on Sundays tho...That's when I am releasing mine, begining this Sunday night.

I will still continue mine.

I break mine down 5a-4A, then 3a-private, but yall do whatever yall need to do.

I like the way he breaks his up. I say we do it like that. What will be a good number to have as far as voters go? 10?

I agree. I say do our polls like Chad does his.

We probably will not get 10 pollsters, more like 6.

I would not be in it but a good start would probably be Mike, Joey, Rob and possibly Robert.

Include Chad and Bobcat05 and maybe Beeninnikes (though probably not since he is solely taking care of East tex). Could also include bullets but I think 6 is enough.
