Newton and Anahuac both got easy first round match ups. I think White Oak and Jefferson are both basically .500 teams. Friday should be a good night for 10-2A.

white oak had to forfeit two wins for playing a fifth year senior or something..
they are in tatums district though.. other than that their district is weak..
should be a good matchup but i still say newton by 10

White Oak is not a weak team. Lost to a 3A school by two or three points and to Tatum (ranked no. 2) which they played even until the last quarter.
Newton's lack of defense will catch up with them.
Pray that Newton will select a good coach so that the tradition will carry on.
Most of the talk around Newton is that Newton wants Johnston. I hope he applies for the job regardless of who else applies for it.
