If PNG's defense shows up, they have a chance, cuz Manvel turns the ball over alot.  At the same time, they are very fast and athletic.  They have an aggressive defense, and an offense that can score quick if they avoid turnovers.  I think it would be a really good game.

Uh huh and seems if I remember correctly Dave Cambells experts also predicted Dayton wouldn't get far when they went all the way to state in 2008.... And not sure about last year... probably predicted a win for Brenham  and was correct on that one....So I guess its Daytons year this time  ;D

Manvel and Brenham were pretty even during the scrimmage, but Brenham said ahead of time they would mainly focus on improving their ground game, and that's exactly what they did.  If I had to pick between the 2, i'd say Brenham looked slightly better.  Manvel is a really good team, with an aggressive and fast defense.  They seem to turn the ball over alot, but if they can avoid that, they can score quickly.  Don't overlook them.

Yep..And it does happen...I think in my opinion it puts more pressure on the team that's picked to win it all,than the teams that aren't...No team Iv'e seen and, iv"e seen a lot of football, plays their best game every game they play...So it does add a little more pressure.. ;)

I agree...  That's why you look at each game as it were your last one, cuz it could be.  One at a time...  Some teams peak under pressure, while others crumble...

they've got Friendswood losing to Tivy in the semis. I think Friendswood's got the O to beat Tivy.

I'll take Fwood by a td if that match happens. Can you imagine if Friendswood won a state championship? FriendswoodFan would go nuts on here. :D
