Guest bc-all-the-way Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 BC Cardinals' JV team defeated Kirbyville JV's 48-0 tonight. K'ville doesn't have a Freshman team, so the future is not too bright for the Cats. That must be why they are putting so much into Friday's game with the Cardinals. BC CARDS by 12-
kvilleballa Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 They will be ok. Kirbyville will have a very young team next year. 7th and 8th grade are pretty solid. When they get in the hands of Alvarez and Barbay. They will be something to be reckoned with. The varsity level has juniors, sophmores and a couple of seniors. I don't agree on your call about our future not being so bright. Our jv been struggling all year. Some of the impact players are playing on Varsity. Kirbyville by 20+ tomorrow since the field most likely nasty.

Your future looks more dismal than your past!! But hey, keep the faith - you never know!
SuperflySnuka Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 You're about to see the Kirbyville JV's Top Players tonight. One is starting at QB, one at receiver, one as the second fullback, one as the starting LB, one starting at DE, one starting at corner, one starting at kicker, one playing at DT and many other JV type players that play. On a normal year, all of those players above would be on JV but because of lack of numbers (one of the smallest 3A's in Texas) these kids are forced to play up on Varsity. So with that in mind, the future looks very bright for the Wildcats. So please realize that the Wildcats are 5 and 2 with a majority of JV type players. It's amazing that Kirbyville can compete and win against all of these Wal-Mart and Super Wal-Mart cities. Heck, all Kirbyville has is Dollar General.
Guest BobcatBeliever Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Well I may be way off base here, but after watching BC's JV, I'm thinking that Dustin Breaux is going to run almost as wild as Dishon has the last few years. Kirbyville won't hang with him.

Is the Rhodes kid a Jr? Sounds like Kirbyville will run away with this game for the next few years. I also hear a lot of talk about bad coaching in Kirbyville. If the Kirbyville staff is winning games with all those underclassmen, it sounds like they are doing a great job. What does that say about BC's all-world coaching staff when they lose with all those seniors to a bunch of sophmores that are undercoached. Hmmmmm
