Pearlands RB Dustin Garrison

Recommended Posts

OK, thats great and all....but it looks like that kid is their whole offense. Granted, he's probably gonna get his, and we're probably not going to be able to completely shut him down. But if our D can limit his yardage, I think we can beat this team. I think they are gonna have a harder time stopping our O than we are stopping theirs. It might turn into a shootout, but I think we can keep pace with them. I must say this....I was really impressed with the offensive playcalling in the Dobie game. Stump was spreading it out pretty good. Some misdirection plays, and alot of mixed up pass/run plays. If that kind of playcalling carries over to the Pearland game, then WB is gonna be tough to beat. For me to be this optimistic going into a game as important as this, you know I must like our chances. ;D

I could have walked to the endzone on some of those defenses. You saw how huge those holes were in thoses defenses.  :D

but like 82 said if theyre a one man show this one might get ugly, quickly. He's not Bradley Marquez (RB for Odessa that single-handedly won 3 games by himself this year)

Hey Soulja, you like my optimism?  ;D I'm trying a new thing this week. Instead of looking at all the things we do wrong. I've decided to look at all the good things we do. Hopefully, it will pay off. Hopefully, I will still have all my hair after this game and hadn't pulled it all out! :D
[/quote]There you go, man!  You learned the first step to loosen up.  ;D ;D

Garrison is hardly Pearland's entire offense. If you focus only on shutting down the run, QB Trey Anderson will pick you apart. This should be a good high scoring game to watch.
I'll have to go w/ Pearland in a close one....35-31.
Lets hope for good weather.

    • Loser of this game might possibly face Daingerfield in the 1st round of the playoffs depending on how district 11 plays out. Daingerfield hasn't been that great up to this point this year but that's still not a team you want to face first round if you can help it
    • Newton wins easily.
    • Hitchcock dline had a Nebraska commit and probably another guy that will play at the next level.  I do agree the oline has to start gelling together to move people off the ball where we can run the ball more consistently
