Guest octfeb Posted November 16, 2010 Report Share Posted November 16, 2010 WARREN, Mass. — A 16-year-old boy has collapsed and died while playing in a junior varsity football game in Massachusetts.Michael Ellsessar was taken by ambulance after collapsing early in Monday's game at Quaboag Regional High School in Warren, about 60 miles west of Boston. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.Ellsessar attended Sutton High School, which shares a football team with a high school in nearby Oxford.A spokesman for the Worcester District Attorney's office, Tim Connolly, says a referee attempted CPR on the teen before he was taken to the hospital.Connolly said an autopsy is expected to be performed Tuesday to determine cause of death. In fact, one of the more disturbing things was the possibility that we may never know what caused it.Prayers go out to the family, teammates, school and the community there in Massachusetts.
