If you can't beat them, I guess you gotta join'em. I'm going to make sure I see them play for the first time sometime this year. I'm still not convinced. Show me! ;)

Nah, they're no good.  Just got lucky.  Probably wont have a 500 record this year and will finish middle of the pack in the district.
Oh, you guys beat up on a poor little 2-A school. WOW! Bullies! :D

This is kind of what I was expecting out of Kountze. After watching them play this summer it looked like they would have prouble with teams that had any size. They are a speed and jump shooting team, and if they are not hitting the out side shot, they are in trouble. But still see them at the top of there dist. there is no size in that dist. EC and Ana. have 6'2'' players playing inside.

The key to playing Kountze tough is not a big man, it's having a PG who can push the ball in the middle of the floor and not turn it over. On the other end it's about having defenders RELEASE when their guards do.HJ was shorthanded on depth on friday night due to injury and and foul trouble and that allowed Kountze to score alot of easy baskets off the break.A big man is gonna have to really run the floor well to be a factor against them. After watching them a bunch this summer and on friday I think HJ and Silsbee are probably the only 2 local small clubs that stay within 15 of them.
You know what I meant Ags  ;D HJ and Silsbee both will take the Lions but I don't see any other local small schools playing them close.
