Coach Schrapps Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Taylor Pace had 18 for Kelly. Shaquille Clare had 42 for the Village.

Coach Schrapps Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Have you seen Aaron Durley play? If so imagine him but more athletic and better touch. He's very good. Kelly only suited out 8

Get rid of one beast out of your district ( Durley transferred?) and get another @ The Village. wOW!
bmtcpa87 Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Clare is big, strong and athletic. He has good touch around the basket, but we don't really have anyone to challenge him. He is just to big and strong for our guys. I would say he is 6-8 250 or so. His stamina is much improved from last year as well, as he played the entire game last night. We play them at Kelly on February 1st and 7. Come check him out. They have a really solid team, but luckly they are not in our district. As for the game, Kelly was down 21-4 early in the second quarter, but fought back to cut the lead to 36-26 by halftime. In the second half, we cut the lead to 5 a couple of times, but that was as close as we could get. Overall, a great effort against a tough opponent on the road. However, Kelly's lack of depth is going to be a problem all year as we had three kids play the entire game. That hard to do when the other team subs in and out the entire game.Really a good game and on to LCM Friday at their place.

bmtcpa87 Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 It wasn't pretty in the first quarter, but we got our act together and played pretty well after that.Hey Bluedove, my other son plays for the St. Anne 8th grade team. Sure would love to play HF this year. We need some more games. Can't get better without playing good competition.

bmtcpa87 Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 I seem to recall that you guys were missing a pretty good player for that game. Besides, I'm sure ya'lls kids would like another shot at us.
