I think  Friday Night.     I also like the Honor Pride Tradition. It kinda captures Texas High School Football.   Friday nights mean something during the football season.

Lights Out, full contact, frenzy........ Friday Night, all in the name of hometown pride. Being able to go back in time, to the place where you felt you had life by the tail. Seeing all those faces you've known for years, sharing family time and friends. Crap food, popcorn and a cold A&W Root Beer. Cruising the drive-in till after midnight, and then you wake up and you're back in 2010.........

The adrenaline rush when you step out of the locker room doors and looking up and see the thousands of people in Purple and White in the stands, then walking to the teepee and everyone on the team is jumping around yelling then bust through and you hear cherokee...

The sound of the mustangs yelling "you better pray that the lights dont go off, cus if they do someones gettin knocked off. UH OHHHHHHHHH" as they run into the Mustang Helmet. Hearing the paper rip into shreds as the band plays the Mustang Stampede. The Navy Flag with the great
WO-S Mustangs on it running across the field and all the silver helmets linked together arm in arm walking out then slowly building up speed down the sidelines.


But for all of the state: The unity of a community when the best sport in texas is played under the bright lights of a football field.
