tjpitcher Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Second year in a row that the LadyHorns have lost in a close match to the team that ended up winning the region and going to state. What's the problem?
Let’sGetAlong Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 My opinion...very good program. They just keep running into better teams early in the playoffs. From the years I've watched them, they usually seem to have 2 very good quality hitters and a big gap from there. I believe you need 3 or 4 very strong quality hitters, a good setter(s), and a great defense to get to state.
Guest jhamilton Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 What problem? Tarkington has one of the best programs in the state.
tjcfan08 Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 Tarkington has a great program..Those kids that play year round and on the top club teams in the Houston area are hard to beat!! They are not just physically ready for the game but mentally as well...You might be just as good as them, but in the end because of all their hard work and training they win..I watched the Columbus/Tarkington playoff game and Tarkington was fired up the first game and I thought you guys were going to get it done..Be proud you have a school that supports your sport and a coach that obviously knows the game..I sure enjoy watching you guys on the court..Good Luck next season!!!
tjcfan08 Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 Any Seniors going on to play college vball for Tarkington?
