SETXsports will be at Guy K. Traylor Stadium in Rosenburg tonight bringing you Evadale football playoffs!! Tonight, Evadale takes on D'Hanis Cowboys in a Class 1A Region IV D.II Area round playoff. The Rebels (8-1, 3-0) champions of district 14-1A DII, had a bye in the 1st round and are looking for their first playoff win in over a decade. The Cowboys (8-3, 4-1) were runners-up out of district 15-1A DII and are coming off a very close win in the Bi-District round, defeating Woodsboro 14-13. This will be the first ever meeting between these two schools.The winner will face the winner of Falls City/Milano in the quarterfinal round.
