ThrillHill80LHS Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 can the cards cover 2 days in a row?
UNLV Posted November 20, 2010 Report Posted November 20, 2010 Women wins big, men lose 98-102.The men should get highest scoring team in the nation. Was 2nd before this game.
LamarFanatic Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 heck of an effort cards came back down doule digits twice never gave up
ForeverADog Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 Good effort. Had it tied under a minute. If Brandon Davis wouldn't have been so cold from three and Milk Harris in foul trouble we would be looking at different results. But we didn't and couldn't find a way to win. Hopefully we get back on track tomorrow.
Lazeek Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 I am still baffled at the fact that LU was down 1 with less than a minute to go and CUSTER took a THREE????? WTH???
KFDM COOP Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 http://blog.beaumontenterprise.com/inthecards/2010/11/20/lamar-mens-basketball-loses-to-portland-state/
coachacola Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 Lamar's not going to have much of an inside game this year. I saw Canisius (future opponent) on TV last week and they have a 7-3 center so it should be interesting how well he does. I have a feeling the whole season's going to be like this.

badndn Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 If this team wins 2 outta 3 this season then they will have won 20 games and finished 11-5 in conference with all these returners next year. I'll take it. They didnt shoot well yesterday against a pretty good team and still had a chance to win. I like their odds of winning 20+ as they should improve as the season progresses. Really looking forward to seeing James. When is his debut?
coachacola Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 Roc's team have never played good defense. At least this year they'll be above average offensively. 20 wins is possible but mainly because of the weak schedule.
Lazeek Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 LU is a 4.5 point dog against SMU today!!!
bigred360 Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 Hopefully, they will play better defense versus the Mustangs tonight at 7PM. Yesterday, the Vikings shot 61.3 percent from the floor in the first half, getting several of their points from inside the paint. They had a a 59-48 advantage at the break.

If we play zero defense we will lose again. I remember when we were playing Billy Ball...I can't recall if it was with Billy or Roc but we played no defense and kept getting our butts handed to us in conference.I don't mind running and gunning at all but we have to defend.
