Not too bad for a team that almost everyone had discounted as a "third place" team (or even worse). EC rolls on! ;D

5horseman Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 I will be rooting for EC, but after seeing what CY done to Newton it will be tough. EC is one of those teams that never quits and they will fight till the end.

I don't think you can't count EC out just yet.. if the defenese can make a few stops I think the bucs can keep it a close game. Hopefully we can bring a lot of EC supporters to the game! I am going to predict YOE rolls 58-12. YOE has way too much tradition,speed,depth,talent,coaching,fan base,etc. YOE would probably be 3 rounds deep even if they were still 3A. I wish EC the best but not going to happen. EC barely got past a McGregor team that the YOE destroyed earlier. Good luck to both teams but I am pulling for the YOEMEN.YOE-58EC-12

[/quote]McGregor only stayed in this game due to refs that REFUSED to throw even a [u]single[/u] flag on them, but penalized EC and called back a TD. That game could have been EC 28-7 or so. I am not saying that changes the situation vs. Yoe, but to say EC "barely" beat MG is not a true reflection of the game.

I will change my prediction to 48-21. YOE stilll controls the game. YOE should have a shot to bring home a state title for the 1st time since 81'. EC will have their work cut out for them. I will say this, IF EC wins they will make it to the state title game,big IF. ??? ???
