Overall if you would have told me that LU would have gone 1-2 this weekend I would have been happy, although in the two games they lost giving up 102 in both games in UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!  Time to play some dang DEFENSE!!!

Maybe this team will be just like the 2008 team.  Start off slow, get hot in the middle of the season, then peeter out at the end.  I was thinking about going to the Texas game that's coming up by I don't want to see Lamar killed by 50 points.

Man, the defense is non existent but I stated I'll wait for 10-12 games before making too many statements about the team. So, I'll keep my frustrations to myself.

They'd better figure this out soon.  This is a team with a lot of new parts, so I'm more than willing to give them some time to jell as a team defensively, but you shouldn't allow the Lakers to shoot 70% against you, much less an SMU team that has losses to UC-Riverside and UALR on their resume.

I still like the overall athleticism of the team, and think they'll be OK on the offensive end (this, in itself, is an improvement over the last two years), but, obviously, the defensive efforts have been horrid.  Needless to say, we won't be making any noise in the conference playing defense like we did this past weekend.

there is no excuse for what happened against SMU but im gonna give time to come together and improve on D. its early either we will make adjustments and improve as the season goes along or hope we can score score score every game.
