81-77 LU with about minute and half left.  Mike James has 13 points.

84-78 with 14 seconds left.  Mike James makes a big 3 pointer.  Looks like he's the real deal.

LU wins 85-82.  Mike James scores 16 in his debut.  Harper had 19 I think.  UTPA made at least 11 3s but LU held on to win.  Texas State just beat them by over 10 on the road just last week so this isn't a great win but it's a win, especially since it's their 4 road game in a row.

I just watched the last 5 minutes on the web feed on the UTPA website. In the last minute of the game Mike James had 5 points including a big trey.

Still, I'll just post facts as I'll leave my opinion about this game out until after the 12th game.

Best thing about this game is it is a win on the road.  Upcoming cupcake #2 at home then go to Texas and Rice.
