WOSgrad Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 As some of you may have learned, Jesse Sanchez, father of the voice of Silsbee Tigers, Mike Sanchez, passed away after a long battle with kidney disease earlier today. So that Mike can take care of and be with his family, there will be no broadcast of the Woodville/Silsbee game.Silsbee basketball broadcasts will resume on Friday with the Tigers' participation in the Fred Williams Classic in Beaumont with Rob Lietzke and Robb Starr. Mike will resume at the mic next week for the Tigers. Please keep Mike and his family in your prayers!
ST413 Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 I know Mike apppreciates friday's broadcast being picked up but it may be considered an insult to him and the Tigers to have those two clowns do it. :) Unfortunately I will be working and not able to attend or listen.
no-look Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 Prayers out to Mike and the family......
