BlueDove - Have you discussed your concerns with the Varsity Basketball coach in private ?
I'm sure the coach is aware of your son's ability and potential. A little communication in private possibly would answer your concerns. Then if you need to "rent" that house from AAW, go for it. Hope your sons do well and continue to enjoy playing the game.
Nope! Haven't talked with him. I always thought your talent or lack thereof should do the talking for you. ;)
There is one thing in life I have learned about coaching, young man. You can only hide talent for so long. It rises to the top some kind of way. You can't stop it. But your paycheck will. ;)

Looks like H-F is content with being a "sub-par" Varsity team.  ::)

You play the game to win, not make friends or buddies. I wouldn't care if you had 10 Seniors on a team, and 2 Freshmen who were better than all 10. My job is to win the game if if those Freshmen are going to help me do it, then so be it.

Blue, we know what it takes to win.  :D When I see a kid in middle school lighting up the nets in Kountze during our pick up games I can't wait to see him slip that Varsity uniform on his FRESHMAN year.  :D :D

You see where "team chemistry" and "loyalty" got Miami's coach Randy Shannon.

Kountze ISD is an exemplary school district. If you're looking for a quality education, along with some good basketball, I have some real estate for sale in Kountze.  ;)

I believe Dove referenced someone totally different than me. He said AggiesAreNot, not me. We do have a poster who goes by AggiesAreNot.

BTW, you are correct, I am all about getting a proper education. ;D

i heard the hunter boys are dropping basketball to go take starting varsity spots on the very successful HF soccer team...  ;D
That is possible, if they can find the time from Universal Off Season
Yep, when you really get right down to it, it's all about football conditioning, getting stronger  and  bigger. Notice I didn't say faster.
well...the LCM vs HF game was exciting! I must say for several minutes I saw the HF line up that had HF umake up a 10-1 deficit initially. The line up consisted of # 3,13,10,23,00! I would like to have seen #35 in that line up. That was an awesome line up that worked. Why we did not see that consistently throughout the game....I don't know? Once that line up was no more...HF lost their 2pt deficit. The final score was 60....44 . HF loses. I saw the FIRE back in #13! tThe sophomores,  #10 and #35 added SO MUCH to the team. The whole tempo of the game was different when they were in. Wish we could see them both in together to see how that works! The best line up for starters would be...#13, 35,10,23,& 00.....IN MY OPINION ! Good hustle tonight HF!

Scott Bessent Seems to be textbook deep state with the soros affiliation.    Bond markets, and my investment accounts,  are liking the pick so far with rates down as investors breathe a sigh of relief.
