I know you said Brownwood had an heck of a program but for them to bring the whole to team to watch Coldspring and Carthage play is a noble thing to do.  Espcially after getting blown away by Carthage just the week before!

Brownwood is good don't get me wrong. But i do question the level of competition in that Region.

It's not Brownwood's fault they steamroll teams. I think the Monahans game might just be a close one.

I got B'Wood by only 21 and thats if they actually throw to Ship more than 5 times this week

True, but you don't get style points in HS.  Carthage or Argyle can beat Brownwood.  I still like Carthage to win that half of the semi's...You can't take away what they have in experience and the key players they returned...Brownwood is getting into unchartered waters now with the group they have.

I'm not questioning Brownwood after seeing what they did to Stephenville.  I know it was early in the season and we weren't clicking yet, but they stuck it to us pretty bad.

I know their kids know of the tradition in Brownwood but that is alot of weight to uphold for a group of kids that have only been told of it.  Their's a big difference in hearing it and experiencing it....2 yrs in a row.  Just because they haven't scored 80 on a team doesn't mean they aren't very good.  Big differences in the quality of oppenents.

As is Carthage as far as being tough.  These are two evenly matched teams but given recent success Carthage takes the game, IMO.  No doubt it will be a good one though.
