Let me ask you this without darrian wright whats dayton's final record now what's crosby's without merka? Without Merka crosby maybe wins 2 games at most. That's why merka is the MOST VALUBLE PLAYER to his team.
I don't really know what Dayton or Crosby does w/o the respective players---but I DO KNOW that with Wright the Broncos rolled thru district, posting several shutouts, with Darian blowing up the middle, and went 3 rounds deep----THAT says MVP---end of story
the same thing happened with Crosby... they rolled threw district... posting numerous shutouts... and went 3 rounds deep (which really does not matter since voting is done before 2nd round) and he still did not get a super.....SHOULD THAT SAY MVP???all these facts are still working in my theory!!!
Crosby rolled thru district????? 42-3 ring a bell??...........Crosby went three rounds deep??????????I thought they went down in the 2nd round to Montgomery??....better check your facts comrade
does last year ring a bell comrade????.. people are saying Merka does not deserve it this year because he hid not lead his team to a district championship. he did last year why did he not win a super last year.....
This is 2010---please update your calendar comrade.............you lose three in a row, LIMP into the playoffs and you expect your guy to be MVP??????Heck you may as well be lobbying for your cheerleaders to get the award
I guess you have not been reading the whole thread...let me sum it up for YOU:your case is Merka does not deserve a super because of how Crosby did in district...... finished 3rd and went 2 rounds deep....even though every teams D's objective was to stop him.....and his combined stats are better than anyone in the district....I might could see that BUT....the same happened last year... he did not get a super and lead his team to a district championship...its should be a double sided coin.... you can't have it both ways...so your justification holds no merritt......MO is that coaches do not vote for Crosby players for some reason...I am still tring to figure out why they hate Crosby enough to put reason aside and not do what is fare to the kids...or vote for Dayton players just because they are DAYTON.... either way it is not right...
There it is.... your whole argument. its not that you think ALL the coaches are blind and stupid thats why they didn't make Merka MVP, its your hatred for DAYTON! No matter what anyone says, you are gonna say they have no merit. You are right and everyone else that knows just as much or more than you about high school football, and knows the 19-4A teams as well as you do( or as well as you THINK you do) is wrong.... Are you related to Merka? Just wondering.
Related,I doubt it. I would be willing to bet he is a Crosby Coach.
Juskillenit89, I think you are correct. Not 1 post since you said that. Oh well, at least he is standing up for his kid!
hitman009 Posted December 15, 2010 Author Report Posted December 15, 2010 Not one post because I just got tired of arguing to the blind….I do not hate Dayton…. They have a great program…. That is why I think they ALWAYS get the supers no matter what happens ( if they win district or not) …. I was just stating the facts……• A kid has more yards than any of the supers…• Is more important to their team then any of the supers…• Plays in all games…. Not a little over ½ like the off MVP…• Is signed to a major university• And only gets 2nd team all-district????Just does not seem right to me….. it leaves only one conclusion… and I was just stating my opinion

Dayton recieved MVP and D MVP...I just think the coaches see a Dayton player, and vote on them because of Daytons history or they just dont like Crosby...either way it is not right.... JMO...anyway it is over with.... and good luck to all players that are playing at the next level or next year in 19-4A....
