it's been my experience that when a team turns the ball over, they end up back on their heels pretty often, and this can lead to a foul to stop a break or to breakup an easy layup.  so, it seems to me that if a team turned the ball over THIRTY times, that might have a lot to do with the foul discrepency.

From what I heard it did sound like Silsbee got a little discouraged about turning the ball over and probably made some unnecessary fouls in the 4th

Look, I'll admit I never like bringing the refs into play, it's really not the reason for any loss, I usually discourage that kind of talk. BUT, the way the 2nd half of this game was called, it was just too hard to ignore completely. I have seen enough basketball in my lifetime to make a fair and honest assesment. The 2nd half of this game was officiated very poorly.

Yeah Kinda like the grief your given him  ::)

He told us that he tought the refs made some bad calls but he also said that he felt Ozen would have won either way since Silsbee had 30 turnovers last night

We definately turned the ball over way to much to win but were still right there towards the end. Green nailed the three, we missed one and gave them the ball back from there it was foul and free throws if no steal.  The Tigers need to take a lesson from this game and take care of the ball. If they do that they should be able to have a chance to win any game.

Traveling violations, passes that went out of bounds, and players stepping out of bounds, turned the ball over to Ozen. Ozen may have had 10 fast breaks last night total.
