Boomhower Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 Is he a Hall of Famer in your opinion?I think his numbers prove his consistency. Just think what they would look like had he played his whole career at Minute Maid. Probably would have hit 500 hr had he stayed healthy late in his career. Take a look at his career numbers here.http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/b/bagweje01.shtml Robbie Alomar should get in as well.
Guest baseball25 Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 I don't think he should be a hof, I mean it's dumb to say just think if he played at minute maid, just think if he would have stayed healthy, you know what he didn't!!!!bagwell was a good ball player and he might get in just bec of the other people won't bec of the steroids, but palmerio or bagwell????palmerio should get in before bagwell!!!
2throwrundown Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 Baggs probably not a first ballot guy but imo is a hall of famer. For a stretch of about 7 or so years was considered one of the games if not the games best 1st sacker. I dont know that playing in Minute Maid his entire career would have scewed his numbers that greatly already pretty dang good. Good ambasador and consistantly elite performer he gets my vote. On a side not brought up by bb25, Palmerio would get my vote as well.
Boomhower Posted December 1, 2010 Author Report Posted December 1, 2010 I agree as well. I put raffy and mcguire in as well. I agree with crash, don't think hell get in first ballot.
