Evadale Tournament Update Thread/KOUNTZE WINS THE TOURNEY!!!

This tournament kicks off in a little over an 1 1/2 hours with Bridge City vs. Deweyville at 10:40 a.m.

Other games involving local teams include:

Kountze vs. Hamshire-Fannett - 1:20 p.m.
Buna vs. Orangefield, 5:20 p.m.

One of the games Evadale vs. loser of the Bridge City/Deweyville game, is tentatively set for a 8:00 p.m. tipoff and will be broadcast on SETXsports.com

It was a great game! They went into overtime with 66 points each. BC came out on top 81-74.

I watched both games and the first game was a good game... Now the second ??? Bluedove I would put my house up for sale tonight if I lived in HF.. That was the worst game I have ever seen out of a 3a school... They have the worst guard play of any team that I have seen at that size school.. They do have a few good big players but no one that can get the ball up the floor,or feed them the ball...

I know you told me that they were bad.. up that was not even close to saying how bad... The starting point guard was a little guy that turned the ball over 6 time in a row... He was so small that there is no way he could see the floor, and his ball skills were so bad that a little league team could take the ball from him.. But all of this was agains a good fast team, so maybe they will look better agains slower, smaller teams. I will watch them again tomorow, who knows...

[/quote] I have never seen any of the kids that you are talking play, but there is no dought that they could not hurt. Only thing is that there was a full bench today so they might need to cut some of the guys that are just wearing a jersey ;)
