Final 4 is set.

11am Semifinal

#22 5A Fort Bend Hightower vs. #3 3A Dallas Madison

12:30 Semifinal

#3 4A Dallas Kimball vs. #2 3A Cleveland


Losers of these two games will play in the 3rd place game at 3:30pm.

Winners will play for the championship at 7pm.

All 4 of these games will be broadcast here at SETXsports!!!!

We've got a pretty good team again. A lot of sophomores and juniors are having to play big minutes, but they're getting better each game. It's a big step up for the sophomores from the freshman level that they went undefeated on last year. We'll have some growing pains throughout the year, but it's fun to watch them develop. I believe I detailed the basics of our team in this thread a few pages ago. I might be wrong though.

Yes you did thats part of what I read.  A lot of talent for a 3A team.

We do have our fairshare of good players. It's just been a pretty good run for us on kids that really love the game and work hard. I expect to see several big bumps along the way this year though. At least I know this group will always play hard if nothing else.

So far only played one tough opponent in Ozen,  ended up losing by 10 in a game that was in doubt with just a couple minutes left.  We had way too many turnovers but didn't have our starting PG or one backup for that game.  Starter just got back yesterday. Stallworth is going to be huge for us this year along with Lane and Gaines. It will be a completely different style of play for the Tigers this year.We played the same team we beat by 15 at home a few games ago today and beat them 90-38. So we are coming together.  If we can get and keep evryone on the court it will be a fun group to watch.

That's good to hear. I enjoyed watching your Tigers in Austin, Stallworth in particular. I remember you told me that he was going to be really, really good this year. I hope y'all are able to make another run through Region III and find a way to get back to Austin again this season.

Thanks for broadcasting these games. I couldn't make the trip down to Beaumont for the tournament so I'll be listening to y'all broadcast the game that the Little Trojans play in at 11am.
