BIGMO44 Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Kinda strange...JMO, that Vidor would put a team in a 1A tournament. Like someone said, the Evadale tournament would at least offer a little more of a challenge.
Pirate88 Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 How much better is your team after playing those 4 games?? Not the less bit! How is this preparing your team for district?? It's not!! Looks like coach is more interrested in "W's" than competing in district. JMO

KHSAlum400 Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 Geesh! Seriously, was Vidor banned from the rest of the tournaments in the area? What does a 4A school gain by playing in a 1A tournament?? You would have faired better playing in a 5A/4A JV or Freshman tournament over the weekend.

whambulance Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 Totally agree with alum. The Pirates would have had a better workout if they would have inter-squad or played their own JV 4 times. And yes, the Evadale tournament always has some pretty good teams if you're looking for a 1A tournament.
