SETXsports.com's continuing coverage of Tiger basketball at the Big Sandy Tournament continues as the #9 state ranked Silsbee Tigers will take on 19-4A's Dayton Broncos in the second round of the Big Sandy Tournament today at approximately 4:30 p.m.  The Tigers advanced to the second round with a 80-31 rout of Caney Creek while the Broncos, who had a bye in the first round and stand at 1-2 on the season, come off a 73-43 victory over the same Caney Creek team in a game played Tuesday.

Why does Silsbee play in this tournament?  They kill everyone doesn't seem they'd get better beating teams that bad.

I agree! They should play in YMBL or HJ Classic! Playing teams who you beat by 50 is just practice. They use to play in Lufkin tournamnet, Smiley Tournament, and DR. Pepper Classic.
