Woodville will again play Bridge City; this time in BC on Tuesday night  12/7/20.......BC took out PNG  54-20 tonight in BC.

BC has a competitive team this season after some difficult basketball previous seasons.

I know Woodville led early and the game was close through out, but New Waverly banked in a 3pter w/ about a min. left and then Woodville fouled, to stop clock and Waverly hit the free  throws.  Final 47-42. NWaverly

Woodville won 85-83 in the Big Sandy Tourney against the host team in 3 ovetimes. Man what a game!!! Girls getting stride. Only going up from where they started at. Chemistry coming together!!!! WATCH OUT PEOPLE!

The lady Eagles looked real good in the game against big sandy they pulled away with a win because their very well played basketball. The lady eagles are getting better. Progress is showing

The poor showing from the BC game seemed to finally motivate the players. The shooting % was so low it was embarrassing to watch! Saturday the Lady Eagles played in the host gym with little officiating and played hard AS A TEAM for 7 quarters!! Only one fouled out and most finished with 4 fouls while managing to send 4 or 5 players from other team to the bench. It was exciting to watch the TEAM win instead of 5 talented individuals lose. Keep it up for the rest of the season.

Congrats to both BC and Woodville tonight.  BC won by 9 points tonight; the last game these two played on 11/30... BC won by 24 points.
What I saw was two teams that have both improved a great deal as the basketball season has progressed.

Congrats to Allison Angelle for a great game at taking the ball from the point guard a number of times... An outstanding performance.
