[/quote]I think the biggest differance in West Texas and East Texas is not so much the speed but the number of talented atheletes.They reload in East Texas and it takes a special class at West Texas schools.At the state game last year the speed of Carthage did shock Graham the first half,but as the Game went on dicapline and better fundamental play showed for Graham.Carthage and Graham lost about the same amount and look where they are and where Graham is.Next year it whouldnt surprise me for B-Wood not to make the playoffs and Carthage to be right back in it till the end.

Good article on Carthage from a Brownwood perspective.  Like it says Carthage has had a few troubles on defense but their offense will be the best that Brownwood has faced and that will be the key.  Many said that Carthage wouldn't get past Argyle and they handled them pretty easily.  Will be a classic for sure.

much appreciated. I listened to B'wood and Mona..... last week off here. the announcer for BW is legendary. I hope that I can get a kitchen pass to listen tomorrow night. I aint savvy enough to post an article but look up Dallas Huston on the internet and there are some really good articles about him.
