there's prob. not a bigger defender of the broncos or the QB than me. I certainly don't agree with what was said, but I just don't know if it was bashing. If it was (in accordance with forum rules), there's a certain bronco moderator that would delete it.

We had a lot of JV kids that would have been starters at a lot of others schools. Logan Sullivan got the nod as back up QB during the playoffs, solid kid. Campbell, the JV RB is a tush hog, and a lot of others that may change position to help out. Point is we have plenty of athletes and positions to worry about, QB ain't one of them.

yes... already a couple inches taller. I think he'll end up being like his oldest brother Brian(sp?)... he was about 5'11".

I think this cat is gonna be special.

I am sure they will have a really good freshman year. Lots of talent at that level.

The middle McBride is a RB / LB and is good also. The fresh front 3 D-Line are beast also. 2012 could look like this . Starting RB Ryan McBride / Starting LB Brandon McBride / Starting QB Kyle McBride. I know pappa McBride has gotta be proud.

I am not bashing our qb. I never said he wasnt a good kid or didnt give 100 percent. Im saying he doesnt have the size or athletic ability to compete against teams that have the same talent as we do. Its no different than saying D. Wright would not be a good cornerback. Im not bashing Darian by saying that, hes the best nose tackle dayton has ever had just doesnt have the speed and agility to play cornerback. I know we have other positions fill. Im not even saying qb is the biggest problem we are going to have next year. We are losing alot on defense and to be honest our defense is what kept us close in the games we lost. But without a doubt the one position on offense we could improve is at qb. Our receiver core is going to be top notch and jak might be the best running back in our region.

It would really surprise me if Jakari could come back to even play, much less be a top RB in the region after the devasting injury he suffered. I know that young man is a fighter and a true competitor and I wish him all the best.

I've heard that they expect that to heal stronger than a tear in his knee would. I'm no doctor... can someone confirm?

From what I have heard a compound fracture as ugly as it is will probably heal just fine. It usually has fewer complications than a serious knee injury. Im with everybody wishing the best for Jak he always seemed to have such a positive attitude.

Been on those so called "other sites" and most sux. You will not find another site with more passonite fans and people not "sugar coating " what they think. If this site is so out of control then why do you post here ??? I will still get you a Christmas card this year and even throw in a box of those aloe tissues so you dont get chaffing on your cheeks from wiping all those tears. :'( ;D

I have a lot of respect for the Dayton program, but what got my attention was the folks bashing the QB so much, I have a 17 year old athlete and hate to see them treated this way. That is all. And I guess if you do not sugar coat things you get folks to smite you, I can handle it!

NAH.......... hope FW pulls it off. No crying involved when you get beat by a better team ;D Besides thats not Dayton style................as you can tell we are already planning for next year not worried about this year. Heck I put a 2012 staring line-up on one of these threads ;D
