[/quote]was Ford hurt or not? ive heard different stories. if he was yall in a world of hurt if Smith takes the field on offense. ---------> notice i said offense. i think he'll see more time on D. CS RBs will still get theirs IMO. that RB core is potent.

I don't know if ford was hurt, but I would be surprised if smith is in good enough shape to get too many carries and also in that article they said the other running back was doing just fine, but smith ain't comitted to A&M for no reason so I guess we'll see.

That's what I wonder.  I assume he couldn't practice and coming off foot surgery that is asking alot of a kid that hasn't played any since Sept. 24th.  No doubt he is good but I still wonder about the Reg. 4 factor as has been the case for several yrs.
