Granted, I haven't watched too many HF games until this season but I've watched enough to have gotten an idea. I have to give Coach Richards props for tonight. He put in a good starting lineup for this game. He started the soph. point guard and you could tell the difference on offense and defense this kid presented. Richards' substitution  was good  overall. If I had to give a grade, I'll give an "A" for effort. Good job coach. ;)

[/quote]Well said Dove. The team was awesome tonight! I agree this was a great starting 5 mixture. Something electrifying happen to the team tonight. To beat the team by 6 then come back tonight and beat them by 20+ pts was great! HEART is what I saw from the team tonight...100% effort and pride.....musta' been the "John Wall" song....lol. Big ups to the HF coach for playing and sticking to what was working best and simply playing to win. When you play to win....you win! No complaints.....great job HF!

Where did you get your math skills from? The final score was 61-49, 12 point margin of victory.

[/quote] OK...did not see final score..taken down so fast...the last score I saw we were up by 22pts. But obviously you received the better education....you should feel PRIVILEGED! Not everyone can be so brilliant at such a difficult math concept such as subtraction. Betcha' you got skipped a couple of grades uh? :)

[/quote] :D Man, I'm trying to find some positiveness in a situation that has some potential. He's using a sophmoe point guard to run the team. He's more what I call a basketball player who is athletic compared to the other guards.  HF is big for a 3-A team.

[/quote]The coach played to win last night. The trouble is that when he uses his role players, the lead was cut to 12 points AFTER A 25+ lead in the 4th qtr.

Silsbee has three soph. guards on varsity, one that currently starts. ;)

C'mon LAZEEK, at least they are winning these games instead of losing them. I am seeing definite improvement with this HF team.

[/quote]Look, I'm so happy he has moved up ONE soph. guard and a forward. There is hope. But for HF to contend for district by 2012, he's gonna have to make some major overhauls. Too much dead-weight

More than any other school in SE Texas............I am guessing but around 5-6!!!!  Although none since the 60s I think!!!!!!
