GoldGlove Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 Deweyville will have to get a heck of a lot better than last year to be in the hunt in this district.
Buna baseball 13 Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 Buna-----1st Deweyville-----2nd Anahuac/Warren/Kountze -----3rd East Chambers---- missing it by one game Hardin------- never seem them so i just put them last.
Guest Uncle Rico Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 Let your Bat do the Talking otherwise it's just Talk ! 8) Louie says 1. Buna 2. Kountze 3. Hardin 4. Warren 5. East Chambers 6. Anahuac
whsalum Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Buna would be my favorite.Warren has a new coach and a ton of talent walking the halls,if some of them get back on the diamond they could compete for a spot.Deweyville looked pretty good last year not sure how many returners they have. That would be my top 3 .Buna,Deweyville and Warren.
Guest Uncle Rico Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Rico you left out Deweyville....... 7. Deweyville Don't blame me it was the bat talking.
oldschool11 Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 It is going to be very interesting to see what teams do this year with their new coaches - just remember, these are kids so anything can happen when you get the ball in the air , kids seem to make a lot of mistakes when this happens - just look at the Tigers in the World Series. Good Luck to all the teams and their new coaches ! We are all ready for some good Baseball ! 8)
Guest Yard Bird Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 1. Buna 2. Hardin 3. Warren 4. Kountze 5. East Chambers 6. Deweyville 7. Anahuac
hfaninthestands Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 1. Buna 2-7 Everybody else, doesn't really matter...run rules in effect
DpBaseball17 Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 to early to tell really but i say the top teams are Deweyville .. lost one starter from last year majority are seniors this year.. Buna .. dropping down to 2a and has very strong pitching from what i hear .. EC.. still a young team , didnt lose many starters .. and Hardin.. had strong young team last year as well im not sure how many they lost but i think they have most starters back.. not predicting the order of these but i think these are gonna be the top 4..
themasterofbaseball Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Oh YEah Warren is gona lose so bad this year its not even funny
zsmithap06 Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 thats crazy no one has anahuac in the top three. i played last year and now play at SAGU. we played against the toughest district in 3-a as a really small school last year and won a few games.. when we played 2-a schools last year we crushed the pitching and set down most of the batters on k's. anahuac has lost 3 or 4 seniors who can play but they still have a really solid team. the number one pitcher damon ritter will most likely get disrict pitcher of the year and kelby shandy kirby will get district mvp when he is healthy he is the best athelete in 2a sports. sophmore omar teran will step into his brothers footsteps and be a great lead off hitter
Baseball4life Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 anahuac also beat dville 5-4 on dvilles first game of the year.. and it was won by an error by dville.. 5 runs is crushing 2a pitching? they only had 3 earned..
zsmithap06 Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 yeah that was with our starting shortstop out who is now playin texas pan-am and i do believe that was won by a homerun by somebody on our team and then shandy driving in the wining run and i mean we won the game..but u forgot to mention how we beat kountze. the only 2a team that beat us last year was hardin by one run and thats because we had a couple guys out with injury. i believe our guys this year will def. make the playoffs or win the district we have always played good against buna so i mean we should be able to hang with them
baseball alumni Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Damon Ritter will get all district pitcher? I do believe you are just young and stupid. Go watch Buna a few games and check out the pitching staff. We will def. see when Anahuac barely is in the playoffs.
zsmithap06 Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 yeah well im pretty sure last year he was able to pull off second team in our 3a district as pitcher the only reason he wasnt able to get first team cuz their were such pitchers as angelle,Haymon, Stringer, Roebuck...yeah maybe u heard of them..ur lucky im good guy and this is just a forum because young and stupid really got me.haha. i mean im doing what i wont to do with my life so maybe i am young and stupid
Buna baseball 13 Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 come on man. you are bragging about beating deweyville and kountze.no offense to either of them but since when has kountze been that good?and as for your mvp's and 1st teamers notta chance. i caint wait till season starts. once district starts you'll see why they do not have a chance.
zsmithap06 Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 yeah i guess we will see. you do sound pretty sure of yourself, but im pretty sure of myself Anahuac has the best player in the district in baseball and if he would have been healthy for football, he would have the best running back in the district..
ECBuc08 Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 East Chambers made the playoffs last year for the first time in forever, and they are returning almost everyone. All the pitchers are back, don't count them out for the district crown.
themasterofbaseball Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 2 bad u got beat by Warren twice!!! they didnt even make the playoffs!!!!
