[/quote]Okay, I'll comeback to you and say this: Ball had the toughest schedule to get to the championship. The best team definitely won. Ball played like they knew they were the better team and the lack of effort/focus showed. Silsbee had nothing to lose and played like it. The heart of a true champion shows in the 4th quarter. Both teams are good. Silsbee is very good. I just can't imagine HJ beating Silsbee for district. Hasn't HJ beaten Silsbee once this season? But anyway, you don't need to find reasons to show that Silsbee is equal to Ball, because they are not. Ball is a very good team. I told you they would win and the guard (s) for Ball came up with the key plays in the 4th qtr. Silsbee is very good too!

We were missing Gaines and Holmes. So we played with only Wilson as far as our regular pt guards go. And he was limited by foul trouble. Still no exccuse other guards can play that position just too many poor passes in that one. But yes we need to play up every game.

Catman, there is no team in SETX who can beat a full strength Silsbee team! HJ will have a hill to climb vs these Tigers. Unlike last year, Silsbee is a run and gun team with a quality 6'4 post. Cleveland won't beat them and neither will HJ. As a matter of fact lease let HJ know to stop crushing all those 1A and 2A schools and play better teams.

Unless you are playing yourself, you are ALWAYS  playing, to some extent, up to or down to the competition.
