That's a big enchilada to swallow.  I love my Hawks, and I love the heart that they display, but its an uphill battle to beat Silsbee. 

This district is Silsbee's to lose.  It's not impossible, but the smart money would be on Silsbee......... or Hamshire Fannett.

HJ is sneaky good! Can't say they will win district but Silsbee has slept on them from time to time and look what has happened. Only time Silsbee really dominated HJ was when they tried to move into 4A in the 90's.

How's the enrollment at HJ?  Will HJ be dropping down to 2A any time soon?

As regards 21-3A, this year, I like my Hawk's chances, especially if Grayson can get well.  If we finish behind Silsbee in district, we'll look forward to a playoff showdown with the Tigers in the regional finals.  But I am one of those who believe HJ is the greatest thing since the internal combustion engine.  If we can just start firing on all cylinders...

If you answer Silsbee, its because HJ is the weaker team.  If you answer HJ, its because Silsbee is the weaker team.
I'm only leaving Hamshire Fannett out of the mix because both teams have to play them.

By reading some these comments, it looks as though there would be more HJ fans surprised than Silsbee fans if the two teams split.

Who is the front runner for the 3rd spot in district????  Originally I was thinking WOS but they have lost several easy games, so then I was thinking OF and then they lost to HF at OF, so to me it is as wide open as it ever has been for the 3rd spot.  Could see some team with a 5-5 or 4-6 record finish 3rd in the district.
