Who is the front runner for the 3rd spot in district????  Originally I was thinking WOS but they have lost several easy games, so then I was thinking OF and then they lost to HF at OF, so to me it is as wide open as it ever has been for the 3rd spot.  Could see some team with a 5-5 or 4-6 record finish 3rd in the district.

Still dropping a little each year..... Not sure about 2A still a little way from it. I hope that we can split but I would rather make a trip to Austin instead of District champs...You just never know.

If not, I would be surprised if they split.  But I would be even more surprised if Silsbee goes 3-0 against HJ (2 district and 1 Regional Final).

I hope Anderson gets healthy and plays as well as Sutherland.  But how effective is it possible for Anderson to play on a torn ACL.  He may be able to move forward and even back, but shouldn't it be very hard to move side to side.  As far as the ankle sprain ,  if it isn't aggravated it should heal sometime soon.

Yeah but I dont think there has ever been this much of a difference in talent level. Its going to take alot of help for HJ to beat Silsbee

I am sure. Silsbee won at home last year 52-40, HJ won at home 75-73. Both games were video broadcast, Silsbee home game by Legacy, HJ home game by KFDM. I was play by for both broadcasts.

[/quote]You're right about the gray hair. I thought Silsbee might luck one in AFTER Galveston BALL gave them 2-3 chances to win AFTER BALL had the game wrapped up earlier. Ball would have won by 5 points if they had not made some very dumb mistakes. Unbecoming for a top ranked team. Ball underestimated Silsbee. Thats the only reason why it was so close.

      I can’t help but feel for Anahuac in this game. A lot of buzz and excitement around the team this year, and there is not a more talented team in the district.  But it looks like they still have some issues with discipline and consistency. They keep getting in their own way.    They have an amazing coaching staff and good athletes who are also great young men. I hope they find a way to get over whatever hill is blocking them from being the program they’re capable of being
