Stand by those comments and look foolish making them. ;)

Silsbee did not win that game (came a shot away from doing so) but the Tigers in fact "stayed on the court" with Ball High. ;)

Scared Coach Temple hairless, you, Dove, left the gym with much more gray hair than you came in with. ;)
You're right about the gray hair. I thought Silsbee might luck one in AFTER Galveston BALL gave them 2-3 chances to win AFTER BALL had the game wrapped up earlier. Ball would have won by 5 points if they had not made some very dumb mistakes. Unbecoming for a top ranked team. Ball underestimated Silsbee. Thats the only reason why it was so close.

Silsbee is for real. Thats why it was close. Ball was warming-up cocky too. I talked with one of Ball's assistant coaches, and all he kept telling me was they were going win by 20 or 30. I told him good luck with that  :D
dog1218, the game would be different a second time. Because Ball took them so lightly, Ball didn't play hard enough to beat them by 20. Happens all the time in competition. Highly ranked Tenn. Vols took a small school out of Michigan lightly and look what happened. Doesn't mean the small Michigan school is better overall, especially if they meet for a second time.
I know quite a few teams that would make that contention after playing Boise State in football.  However, the score is a pretty good indicator

HJ hears that every year as well!!!!!!

And HJ won at Silsbee last year......... ;) ;) ;)
You mean you can't remember HJ winning at home last year and trying to start some lame chant and being drowned out by a chant from the Silsbee side of "District Champs!!    District Champs!!!!        District Champs!!!!!"

Bluedove3, I bet you wish all games were played on paper, but they arent. Silsbee didnt look one bit intimidated by G-Ball being #1 on the state. They new they had talent as well. I can tell you one thing, G-ball started playing hard after that 1st quarter when Silsbee was getting fired up on them.
Never said Silsbee was scared!  Silsbee had nothing to lose. G-bALL felt the had the game BEFORE it started, plain and simple logic.  True champs show what they are made of in the final minutes. They won!

But I guess back to the original topic, No, HJ will not win district 21-3A because Silsbee is a much better team THIS year
