Well win gilmer gets to play teams like mineola im sure its real TOUGH to rack up them yards
our non-district was plenty tough. we can't help who we are in district with. and BTW, 90% of the scoring has been in the first half. we have called the dogs off every game.

If only we still played for ONE state champion, then Gilmer, WO-S, Giddings, Wimberley, and Cuero would all be in the same tournament. At least WO-S will be paired in the same group as Giddings, Cuero, and Wimberley. There's a chance we could meet two of those three.

and I' date=' my friend, would like to see that too!!!!!!!!![/quote']

It's a dream matchup that ain't gonna happen this year.

Only once in WO-S' history have we given up 50 points or more, and that was last year against Wimberley (actually, two of Wimberley's TDs were defensive scores, so their offense put up 38 on us). If this game were to ever take place, I'm sure Gilmer would get their points, but they would not hang 50 on WO-S. Our defense is too good to give up that much to anyone in 3A.

lostaussie' date=' do you have Gilmer's defensive stats on the year?[/quote']i don't have stats right in front of me. i will say we have been very susceptible to big plays. we seem to give up a couple of long plays no matter who the opponent. don't read a whole lot into giving up 42 to Daingerfield. we had several starters out, got a 3 td lead and basically swapped td's for the rest of the game. the end result was never in doubt. Tatum scored 3 td on us in the first half but we stuffed them the second half. i just honestly don't think anyone can outscore us, but i do wish the D was a little tighter.
