bullets13 Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 i'm glad a team finally came along that was good enough to exploit this team. it's a shame that as good as they are that they only know how to play one type of basketball.

All they did was break their press the whole game. I'm sure every team on their schedule practices breaking presses, so there was really nothing to exploit. Findlay Prep was just better.
you asked, then answered your own question. they were too good for Yates to press, but Yates knows no other way of playing, so they exploited that by consistently breaking the press and getting easy layups and dunks. had Yates had ANY semblance of a half-court game, this game could've been much closer.
BADSANTA Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 No other team in Texas or the USA could have beat Yates like that. It took a Allstar team to do so. Wow
Yates is a very young team. They played against future D-1 players. Yates will be okay.
