So 4 straight with 3 different coaches. Anybody think they can be the first school in Texas history to go 5 in a row.
[/quote]

Not only do I think that Lake Travis wins #5 next year, but I also see Aledo winning #3.

Gilbert's brother needs to increase that speed. He's a big guy but if he wants to play good college football, he's gotta run faster than a 5.0 flat 40.

LT will not 5 Peat.

Aledo will 3 Peat. Gray and QB Bishop returning! I predict Aledo and LM go at it again next year in DII.

After seeing these two teams play this weekend I have to agree, LM returns alot next year as does Aledo.

LaGasse is far from just a utility player, he's probably the best athlete on the team. He QB'd in Brewers absence this year due to a separated shoulder.  They won't be missing much from that position.

I do not belive there was a black started on LT. Idk why, but only .5% are black and 90% are white. Its just the demographics of the school population. On a side note LT indoor pracrice field and the largest high school wieght room in the country.

LaGasse was the QB when Aledo beat LT.  The kid is a really good athelete and I think there will be very drop off at the QB position next year.  I look for him to do very well.

Lake Travis High School - News:

"For the third year in a row, LakeTravis High School is listed as one of Newsweek's Top 1,300 schools in the country. This year, the campus jumped more than 200 spots to be listed at number 503 - its highest ranking yet.

According to the magazine (The Top of the Class, newsweek.com, 2007), public schools are ranked by the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and/or Cambridge tests taken by all students at a school in 2006 divided by the number of graduating seniors. All of the schools on the list have an index of at least 1.000; they are in the top 5 percent of public schools measured this way.

Lake Travis High School Principal Charlie Little credits his team for helping build the school's Advanced Placement (AP) program.

"The Pre AP and AP teachers and school counselors have worked hard over the past several years to grow the LTHS AP program," Little said. "It's exciting to be on Newsweek's list, and I'm proud of our students for pursuing the academically rigorous courses that the AP testing program offers. Clearly, these students are making the most of their high school experience and they will be better prepared for success in college."

In 2006, LTHS was ranked 752 on Newsweek's list. In 2005 the school was ranked number 577, while in 2003 it was listed at 659. For more information on LTHS AP programs, contact the school's counseling office at (512) 533-6114."

Westwood High School was 92, Westlakecame in at #97 and Cedar Park was 1100.  See the rankings here:  http://www.newsweek.com/id/39380
