La Marque has 960 students (3A possibly) next realignment....... What ya think?

It may be coming because there are a lot of former students who have moved on to the Clear Lake and far east Ft. Bend ?Alvin area schools.

Actually, that would just mean that everyone in the area would just have to work harder and raise their competitive level.  Might actually turn out to be a good thing.

Not necessarily. They have a spike in talent right now, dont mean they would next year or 2 years down the line. LaMarque didn't even make the playoffs last year or the year before. Lets see was it last year or the year before they were ready to run that coach out of town!

La Marque has been rumored to have been moving down for the last two realignments.  In fact, it was supposed to be a lock to happen this past realignment.  So until it happens, I won't hold my breath.

LM is gonna have a good team the next couple of years. If they were move down to 3-A better build a bigger trophy case because it wont be nice for the rest of 3-A. ;D

Not just LM but the Ricebirds as well.  But since it's a caculation vs a hard number, then LM and El Campo should be on the low end of 4A just like Stephenville.....

Didnt know El Campo's #s were that low. That is another solid team year in year out and would make a lot of noise in 3-A ;)

Very true, 85.  In fact, a lot of scenarios had ALL 3 teams dropping to 3A.

I think LM is getting alot of credit which they deserve but dont forget this team barely made the playoffs as a four seed in their district. We like to talk about our football program as being pretty elite and WOS beat us every time we played them in the regular season even the year we had cody and aj. You might be suprised how well 3a teams would do against a team like LM.

There are alot of 3a schools that can play with LaMarque, everyone thought WOS would have 4 titles by now in 3a and they don't even have one, sometimes LaMarque is great, sometimes their not.
While they would beat 90% of 3a teams, they may not win the title every year.
