How will Dayton do in Baseball?

Dayton will be a big factor in baseball in 4A. Met up with the catcher at a College showcase and he is very strong. If the rest of the team plays like he did, Dayton will definitely put on a strong showing.

we have 8 returning staters.... we should do well this year..and no we didnt get 10 run ruled last year..

Who is the new Coach and where he is from?

Coach Craus was the former assistant baseball and is the current football

reciever coach in Dayton. He was promoted when Coach Deberry took the job in Huffman. Coach Craus will work extremly hard and brings a fresh attitude to the Broncos. We expect to do very well under his direction.

Maxey is a good def. catcher and has good power at the plate. Dewey can hit from both sides of the plate well and has above average speed. i saw both play this summer and hope they have a good season this yr. good luck

I keep reading about Frank Smesny- could I get some more info on him? Does he have any older siblings that played or anything? Who else should make up this dayton team also?

His brother Ford Smesny is starting DB #14 on the Football team. He is real good baseball player but, I don't think he is playing.

Frank is an excellent all-around ball player. Good attitude and all business.

I remember playing against Lott and Gardiner are they still top notch--I remember they wer very good players at 12-14 yrs

yeah i remember watching most of the seniors play league ball when we were little. They were very talented and still are very talented. This season should be a good one with them being in a new District.
