Is 5A really the "BIG" dawgs in Texas?

All are suburbs except for Brenham, who has to be recruiting or something. They're good in all sports ;D ABSENT is right.

The poteet is not a suburb. The school is only about 5 miles from 635 loop, almost across the street from Mesquite. No where near suburb status.

After watching the State Championship game the kids of LT were very dominate and IMO could beat a lot of 5A teams. But when you got to ET or Pearland the kids were much bigger and even though bigger were still much faster. whole new level. LT was well disciplined and played great defense. if they play Steele against their running back they couldnt hang.

Hey I'm a big Aledo fan and have been for many years. As much as I would like to say top 4-A teams could hang with top 5-A teams they couldn't.  Not say'in they couldn't win on "any given day" but on a regular basis they ain't no way.  4-A could beat 5-A and 3-A could beat 4-A and 2-A could beat 3-A and 1-A could beat 2-A so could 6 man beat 1-A?
