Collins is the JV coach, Brooks is the freshmen coach. Natural progression has Collins the lead, with Ira as first assistant.

[/quote]Either way, both of those coaches seem to know what they are doing during game situations. Very good at making game-time adjustments.

Both are fantastic coaches in their own ways.

Now that Ira is certified, I look for him to be applying for jobs that come open after this school year ends. As sad as I would be to see him leave Silsbee, I will be just as happy for him to see him get his first head coaching position. Ira deserves it!!

Ira is a coach who knows how to maximize the kids potential. Collins as well.

[/quote]Stevie, I said a 'couple" of openings. At least two. Yeah it's bold. Just like I predicted  :-X had the Ozen job a few years ago. But he /they didn't accept it 8)

There are literally hundreds of Head and Assistant jobs open every year.  This including the SE/East Texas area.
