Go-rilla Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 Most talented athlete was Adrian Ellis!Best BB player had to be one of the state champion kids.
AggiesAreWe Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 I know what Cleveland basketball player has the best name of all-time:Casanova Caldwell!!!!
bronco#34 Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 yall boys better ask them about a guy name cotton, could shoot from anywhere on the court,if we had 3 pointers back then, this guy would have all kind of records
Socrates Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 They've had some studs, best I've seen personally was Tuffy, but my trusted source tells me Boo Davis, Alfred Fro Smith and Craig Lillie were better.
indian15/16 Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 Interesting topic. I can't believe i'm saying this but AAW is absolutely correct. I played with Craig Lillie and he was as good a basketball player as Cleveland has seen. Boo(Brian) Davis is the best athlete to come down the pipe in Cleveland, that guy could play everything at a very high level.
BADSANTA Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 What about Domonic Harrel or Andre Riscaino back in 95.
indian15/16 Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 Side note: Craig would sometimes warm up by shooting three's from out of bounds on the baseline. He would make one after another. It was the craziest thing you ever saw. Man, he was a pure shooter. Craig's shooting range started when he got off the bus. He was sick.
AggiesAreWe Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 I have seen Cleveland basketball as far back as the mid 70's, I have seen no other player from Cleveland that was as good as Craig Lillie. '6"6 wingman that could do it all. He was an awesome talent!
